Literacy and subject focused coaching is not tutoring. Tutoring often focuses only on helping a child catch up on assignments or practice skills in isolation.
Coaching is different—it’s about equipping your child (child-focused sessions available for charter schools only), with tools, strategies, and confidence, and skill sets to build lifelong success in learning.
Using my specialized knowledge of phonetics (for reading), language development, and instructional design, I customize each session to build upon your child’s knowledge to grow their confidence in reading, writing, or language for an intervention model that will have them closing gaps. It’s a dynamic model that will elevate your child’s skill sets.
During each session, your child gets engaging, personalized instruction—while building confidence and using hands-on strategies grounded in research.
Coaching Options:
*Literacy Coaching (Combines both reading and writing skills)
*Writing Development Coaching ( ages 5-7)
*Reading Coaching (ages 4 -8)
*Writing Beyond Coaching (ages 7- Highschool: Covers more advanced concepts of writing such as paragraph formation, writing to text, author’s craft, word choice, genres of writing. Skills covered are based on child’s needs, skill levels, and grade level as applicable)
*Biliteracy Coaching for Children (ages 3-11)
*Spanish Language Coaching (ages 12 – Highschool)
*Please note that most charter schools will only approve child-focused services. The services listed here are charter-approved.

- 30 minutes: Personalized, interactive learning with your child
- 15 minutes: Guided practice of skills with child
- All materials included so you can practice at home
- Current Charter/ Vendor Discount: $100 per session

*Child-focused sessions are 45 minutes in length working with the child.
