What is a Literacy Playdate?

This literacy playdate is designed for children ages 18 months to age 7 who are working on early learning skills. For children who are developmentally ready, we encourage taking the exciting next step into early blending skills. Additionally, sensory and play-based fun are used to grow early literacy skills, such as comprehension and vocabulary, that are proven to build confidence in early learners

What activities are done during a a literacy playdate?

Each session is filled with hands-on, interactive strategies that support their children’s journey into literacy. Through a mix of play-based and sensory activities—mixed with fun—children will strengthen early literacy skills, practice blending sounds, and build a love for learning.

This group is a joyful mix of learning, playing, singing, and exploring, giving families practical tools and ideas to nurture reading readiness every day.
