Literacy Coaching

Let’s GROW Confident Readers Together!

Customized Services Provided

Family literacy coaching is not tutoring. Tutoring often focuses only on helping a child catch up on assignments or practice skills in isolation.

Coaching is different—it’s about equipping both your child and you, the parent (child-focused sessions available for charter schools only), with tools, strategies, and confidence to build lifelong reading success.

Using my specialized knowledge of phonetics and instructional design, I customize each session to build upon your child’s knowledge to grow their confidence in reading and writing for an intervention model that will have them closing gaps. All the while, parents are given the strategies to take home to continue this growth throughout the week. It’s a dynamic and dual-client model that will elevate your child’s reading.

During each session, your child gets engaging, personalized instruction—while you learn how to keep the momentum going at home.

*Please note that child-focused sessions are available for charter school students.
